Board Meetings
The Iredell-Statesville Schools Board of Education holds its regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. Board meetings are held in the conference room of the Career Academy and Technical School located at 350 Old Murdock Road in Troutman, North Carolina. Committee of the Whole meetings are at 6:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month and will be held once at each of our traditional high schools and in the conference room of the Career Academy and Technical School in Troutman. You may view a comprehensive schedule of our meetings to see specific dates and times.
The board of education reserves the right to change the meeting schedule for holidays, scheduling conflicts, and as other needs arise. Any changes to the board's schedule will be communicated to the local media, as well as noted on the district's homepage.
Public comment is welcome at the regular board of education meetings, however, you are reminded to limit your comments to three minutes. Anyone wishing to speak may sign up between 5:30pm-6:00pm before any regular scheduled board of education meeting.
Mission Statement
The Iredell-Statesville Schools Board of Education will provide leadership for a system of schools that enables all students to achieve their academic potential and lead productive and rewarding lives. The board of education will achieve this mission through effective policy and decision-making utilizing the fundamentals of continuous improvement.
