Welcome!
¡Bienvenidos!
Iredell-Statesville Schools has many families who do not speak English fluently. The purpose of the interpreters, translators, and a parent liaison is to facilitate communication that encourages parent engagement and student success.
An interpreter should be present whenever there is an interaction with a parent with a language barrier. School interpreters are devoted to their professionalism in conveying oral communications between parents and schools staff with reliably, accuracy, impartiality and confidentiality.
We interpreters are an integral tool in your "tool bag", helping fulfill the district's mission and vision and core values. We ensure that parents are fully involved and engaged in their students' education.
