Holiday Card Contest

Iredell-Statesville Schools is conducting a contest to select student artwork for this year's holiday card! Students are encouraged to submit their best, full-color holiday creations. Winners will be selected by the community to have their artwork used as the cover of the district card. A winner will be selected from grades K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-Early College. The winners will be determined by the most likes on their artwork on the Iredell-Statesville Schools Facebook page. Winners will receive a certificate and will be recognized during the December Board of Education meeting on Monday, December 8, 2025. 

All entries must be received by the Public Relations Office by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025. The artwork will be uploaded into albums via Facebook on the Iredell-Statesville Schools Facebook page and go live on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to "vote" for their favorite card by simply liking the photo. Voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Holiday Card Contest Rules:

  1. Artwork must be submitted on one (1) 8.5x11 piece of white paper.
  2. Artwork must be full-color; no black and white pieces, please.
  3. Artwork must be 'flat'; no foam stick-on pieces, no sequins, no beads, no features that are raised, etc. We must be able to scan the artwork easily.
  4. Include the student's full name, grade, and school.
  5. All entries must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025.

To submit artwork, you may:

  1. Drop the artwork off in person at our office, located at 549 N. Race Street in Statesville.
  2. Mail the entry to Iredell-Statesville Schools Administrative Offices at 549 N. Race Street, Statesville, NC 28677 to the attention of the Public Relations Department.
  3. Send the artwork via school courier.
