Infinite Campus for Parents: Campus Parent Portal

As part of an initiative by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the Iredell-Statesville School District is using Infinite Campus as our official student data management platform. 
Infinite Campus is a comprehensive student information system designed to enhance data security and provide a more robust platform for managing student attendance, schedules, and other vital information. 
Set up your Infinite Campus parent account with the help of this hub's valuable resources. Enjoy the convenience of managing and accessing all your student accounts through a single, user-friendly login.

Log In to Infinite Campus

 

I don't have an account! How do I set up my Campus Parent Portal? 

Please follow the instructions outlined below to create your account. The username and password you may have used with PowerSchool will not work to log into this system - you must create a new account.

Step 1 -
Visit https://portalaccess.ncsis.gov/ to create your own account.
You will need your child's student number, their name, and their date of birth.
You will be asked to verify your information to complete the account creation.
Towards the end of the process you will get an Activation Key. Please make sure to take note of the Activation Key. You will need in to complete the account creation process.

Step 2 -
Go to https://490.ncsis.gov/campus/portal/parents/psu490iredell.jsp
Click on the New User?  (located at the bottom of the log in area)
Enter the Activation Key from Step 1
Create your username and password (make note of your username and password for future use)
The next screen will ask you to enter your email address twice (2 times) and the password that you selected. For security purposes, you will have to verify the email address by checking your email account. If you have multiple students in the district, you may receive this message more than once. However, you only need to complete this verification process once.

Step 3 -
Complete the Annual Update
Once your parent portal account is created, please take a few moments to complete the required annual updates for your student(s). If you have multiple students in our schools, Infinite Campus conveniently stores each student's profile under one parent account.

Note: Please create your account and update your information as soon as possible, as this information will sync with ParentSquare and time-sensitive information about the start of the school year will be communicated through ParentSquare.

 

How do I log into the Campus Parent App?

The Campus Parent app provide the same tools as the browser version, with the benefit of the option to stay logged in and receive push notifications.

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Search for your District Name and State, entering at least 3 characters of your district's name to search. Select your district from the list. Type Iredell- to find us!
  3. Enter your Username and Password
  4. If using a secure, private device, mark Stay Logged In to receive mobile push notifications, if enabled by your school.
  5. Click Log In!

 

What if I am missing students or have student I don't recognize in my Portal?

I am missing student(s)
Please contact your school's data manager for assistance adding students to your account. Infinite Campus creates accounts based on physical address. If your address was entered differently for both of your students (example: 11th Street / Eleventh Street), a separate account was created. Your school data manager can merge your accounts. 

I have students under my account that are not mine
Please contact your school's data manager. If multiple families share an address (ex. apartment complex/multi-home dwelling) you may see another student in your account. Your school data manager can remove these students from your account. No confidential information has been added to Infinite Campus at this time, so your student's data is safe.

 

How do I view my student's report card in the Campus Portal?

  1. Login to Infinite Campus through your web browser or the Campus Parent app.
  2. Select your student. If you have multiple students under your account, click on the name of the child whose grades you wish to view on the main dashboard. You can toggle between students using the person icon in the top left of the dashboard
  3. Open the Menu by clicking on the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen.
  4. Select “Grades” to see your student’s grades and make sure the correct term is selected. From the same menu, click on “Documents”
  5. Under Report Card, click “North Carolina Report Card” to view and print all of your student’s grades from the grading period you selected.
