Choice Programs Application Timeline
In addition to home schools, Iredell-Statesville Schools offer families a menu of school options, each with a signature theme or program that provides unique educational opportunities designed to engage students' interests and talents. I-SS Choice Programs include International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, Advanced Placement academies, Early Colleges, Dual Language Immersion schools, A+ Arts Integration school, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs, a Fine Arts magnet, a Career Academy, and virtual learning options.
The window of applications for 2024-2025 entry into a secondary choice program will begin on January 1, 2024. Applications for entry will be accepted through January 31, 2024. For each program or school's application, click on the buttons below.
Secondary Choice Program Application Timeline
This application timeline is for entry into all early college high schools (ASEC, CCTL, or Crossroads), both International Baccalaureate schools (Oakwood and The Brawley), and for the AP Academy housed at West Iredell High School.
Open Enrollment:
Monday, January 1, 2024 - Wednesday, January 31, 2024
Data Collection and Application Reviewal:
Thursday, February 1, 2024 - Monday, February 26, 2024
Mail Decision Letters:
All letters will be mailed by Friday, March 8, 2024
Receive Responses:
Monday, March 11, 2024 - Tuesday, March 26, 2024
Final List of Students:
The list will be sent out to the district and middle schools by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
