Parkertown Elementary School

The target date to open the new elementary school is August 2027. 

The elementary school is designed to serve 720 students, with core facilities to accommodate 900 students.

218 Parkertown Rd, Troutman, NC

Official boundary lines have not been set, but Parkertown Elementary will relieve overcrowding at I-SS elementary schools located in Troutman and Mooresville.

Green and purple are the school colors.

We have not determined a mascot.  We will be doing a survey soon to determine the new mascot.

ADW Architects is the design team and JM Cope is the construction company.

A committee composed of representatives from the school district (Teachers, School Administrators, Central Office Personnel, Members of the Board of Education, and the Superintendent) and members of our Facilities Task Force.

There is space to accommodate a middle school in the future.
