Meal Resources in Our Community

The School Nutrition Department in Iredell-Statesville Schools is proud to offer lunch and a "to-go" breakfast meal each day Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by drive-thru curbside only at all elementary and middle school campuses as well as Statesville High School through the month of August.  These meals will be available, at no cost, to I-SS students 18 and under, EC students 22 or younger, and any younger household members.  Please help us prepare each week by completing the Meal Request Form.

North Carolina eligible families now have the ability to text FOODNC to 877-877 to find nearby meal sites that will provide meals to children while they're out of school.  For more information about this tool, read this article.
Parents are also able to call 2-1-1 to speak with an operator who will help them find meal sites in their community.  The 2-1-1 service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and services are provided in multiple locations.

 


Pandemic EBT Benefits

For those families that have lost work and now find they need assistance, families can apply online for free/reduced meals and once approved they can also receive a new benefit from the Coronavirus Pandemic EBT (P-EBT).
